The light and spacious accommodation, for just 2 guests, consists of –

Downstairs: a large open plan living and dining room with cosy green enamel wood burning stove and log supply. The kitchen opens off the living room and is well equipped with a dishwasher, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, Nespresso machine and fridge. The spacious boot/utility room has a washer/dryer and Fridge/Freezer.

Upstairs: a large bedroom with super kingsize bed and sitting area with 2 comfy armchairs and smart TV and lots of books, maps and guides to browse. The beautiful ensuite bathroom has a huge walk in shower, separate bath tub and double wash hand basin.

There is complimentary WiFi and ample free private parking.

Included in the cost is bed linen and towels, bath robes and lovely Purdies of Argyll toiletries. On arrival, there will be a generous welcome pack including: Simon’s Pies from the Skye Pie Cafe , a bottle of wine and delicious produce for breakfast. We will also include cupboard basics –  our own eggs, tea, coffee, milk, butter, Isle of Skye Baking Company bread, salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil etc so that you can settle in before you venture out to explore!
We want you to enjoy the freedom of self catering without having to think of buying everything you need before you arrive.

2018 Tariff  – 23rd March 2018 to 2nd November inclusive

3 night weekend stay – arrival Friday / departure Monday – £550.00

4 night midweek stay – arrival Monday / departure Friday – £650.00

7 night week stay – arrival Friday or Monday / departure Friday or Monday – £975.00

To confirm a booking we will require a £200.00 deposit payable by BACS transfer or PayPal. The balance of the stay is payable 8 weeks prior to the arrival date.

Christmas & New Year 2018/19 – 7 night stay only

Arrive: 22nd December – Depart: 29th December 2018 – £1,200.00

Arrive: 29th December 2018 – Depart: 5th January 2019 – £1,200.00

To confirm a Christmas/New Year booking we will require a deposit of £400.00 and the balance of the stay is payable 12 weeks prior to the arrival date.

Cancellation Policy:

If for any reason, you need to cancel your reservation then you should contact us as soon as possible and confirm your cancellation in writing. We will make every effort to market the available space to enable us to provide you with a refund of the money paid, less a 10% administration charge. The sooner you inform us of a cancellation, the more chances that we can fill the vacancy. If we are unable to fill the vacancy, costs will be incurred as follows:
• Cancellation given up to 8 weeks before booking commences: Loss of deposit
• Cancellation less than 8 weeks before booking commences: Loss of full rental & deposit. We would strongly recommend that clients take out full holiday insurance to protect against this possible loss of deposit/rental.

  • The Spoons Luxury Self Catering is strictly for a maximum of 2 guests and is not suitable for children under the age of 14 years old.
  • We regret we cannot accommodate any pets of any age, with the exception of assistance dogs.
  • The Spoons is a non smoking property, in line with Scottish law, and therefore smoking within the property is strictly forbidden.
  • We regret we do not accept bookings of less than 3 nights and we have fixed changeover days of Mondays and Fridays, (except for Christmas & New Year and in winter we can sometimes be flexible – so do ask).
  • Check-in is from 4pm onwards & Check-out is by 10am on day of departure. Please do let us know if you plan to arrive after 6pm on day of arrival so that we can be here to welcome you.
