Ian and Marie Lewis completed building The Spoons in May 2009, after a two year self build, during which time Ian built while Marie worked at the Three Chimneys and their sons were very patient! Prior to that they lived and worked for 12 years on the small island estate of Eilean Shona, off the coast of Ardnamurchan. There they ran the luxurious Eilean Shona House, looking after up to 20 guests.

In October 2009 The Spoons was awarded 5 Star Grading from Visit Scotland.

Ian and Marie pride themselves on attention to detail. They are committed to ensure that their guests are well looked after at all times and that their needs and expectations are met.
